RECOGNITION PROGRAMS: Leadership Giving
United Way’s Crystal Circle honors community leaders who make a substantial contribution to improving lives. That commitment enables United Way to address the challenges of today and to invest in the promise of tomorrow.
The Alexis de Tocqueville Society is United Way’s national leadership giving program that recognizes outstanding United Way benefactors in each community. The Society takes its name for the 19th-century French writer who so admired the voluntary spirit he found in America.
Crystal Circle Membership Levels
You may combine you contribution with your spouse’s to qualify as leadership contributors.
- Alexis de Tocqueville Society - $10,000 or more
- $7,500 to $9,999
- $5,000 to $7,499
- $2,500 to $4,999
- $2,000 to $2,499
- $1,500 to $1,999
- $1,000 to $1,499
Legacy Society
The Legacy Society honors those who support United Way of Greater St. Joseph through a bequest, trust, life income gift, or other planned giving vehicle. For information, contact glenda.hamilton@stjosephunitedway.org
